Okay, let's try this again...

... So I thought I was doing good. During my whole week off at Thanksgiving, I took the time to work out every other day on my dad's Healthrider at his house. It was going swell, mainly because I was working out in the morning (my most productive time of the day) and wasn't committed (one t or two ts?) to doing anything else all day.

Of course, when we went back to our regularly scheduled program the next week, it didn't work out so well. SO...

I decided to make a New Year's resolution of the deal. And here goes:

My goal is to weigh under 250 pounds by May 22nd. That is exactly 130 days away. I had a slight holiday regression on my weight, but I am still doing better than I have been.

My second goal is to lose two inches of girth from both of my thighs. Right now they are at a whopping 28.5 inches.

My third goal is to lose two inches from my waist. It is currently at a staggering 52.5 inches.

My final goal is to fit into my old business suit. I got this suit about three years ago and haven't been able to wear it for the past two (that may be more due to poor measurements at first... but I digress). I really want to wear it on May 31st at the Mississippi HOBY convention.

How am I planning on achieving these goals? Today I started a new workout regime to see if I can drastically alter my appearance. It's a three days a week, six week plan that involves short bursts of high intensity running with a few basic exercises to help condition my legs. I'm going to combine this with a healthier eating plan that will hopefully balance me out.

My first due date for results is February 20th, which happens to be my aunt's birthday and my 8 month wedding anniversary. At this time, I will be content to be about a quarter distance away from my original goals. If I'm any closer, that's just gravy on top.

If you have any inspirational advice or comments, I'd love for you to share them below. A little motivation every once in awhile would do me some good.
